
I worked as Lead Environment Artist on the VR title Raccoon Lagoon Anniversary and Senior Environment Artist on the original Raccoon Lagoon for the Oculus Quest 3 and 2. The game engine used was Unreal 4.
My primary responsibilities included:
- Modeling and texturing the terrain.
- Modeling and texturing many of the prop models and vegetation.
- Set dressing entire biomes including the beach, hub, forest, highlands, mines, cave, mountain, and volcano areas.
- In addition I did some lighting and blueprint work for animated objects in the level.
- Updating the visuals and amount of content to work on Quest 3 and 2. This was fun because I was able to do things that we couldnt do originally on the Rift. We had better POIs and more detail assets.
- Updating materials to look more visually interesting.
Environments
I worked on all the of the terrain floors, some foliage and rocks, the entire cave, and all of the stone architecture, layout, and set dressing.
